My name is Hong Ze Yee born in year 2000, in Malaysia, Sabah. I spend my early life in Tawau, a small place which is my hometown. At the age of 13, I went to Chinese independent high school. Therefore, I transfer to private school during my senior high schooI.After graduated, I moved to Kuala Lumpur to continue my further study for degree.
I am a design student studying in Taylor’s University lakeside Campus. I have registered diploma in Event Management for the first year but I realized that I am not interested in this course after the first semester. Then, I transfer to foundation for one year and then I have decided to go to the design school. I am a person who is positive about every aspects of life. There are many things I like to do, to see and to experience. I like to read, to draw, to think as well as listen music.

Link to FaceBookThis is the first time I learn about building website. I was so excited before the class start because I am zero knowledge on how does a website built and it sounds fun for this subject. The first day of our class is module briefing to let us know what are we going to do in the entire semester. Follow by second week Mr Shamsul and Mr Lun introduce us on how to use HTML code to create a website with title, heading, subheading and content. At first, I was confuse about the codes and I thought we must remember all the codes in order to build a website, but luckily Mr Shamsul said no worries because it has a thousand kind of codes so it is impossible to remember it all. After that, we do some exercise during the class session to let us practice to use HTML code. After we done, we were require to submit it on Netlify.
Thus, there is a home exercise for us to practice and to make sure that we all are clear about the lessons and instructions. When I am doing the class exercise I faced some technical difficulties and I forget about some codes because its hard to remember all the steps in a short period of time, but luckily I have wrote the notes while Mr Lun is showing us the demo. This exercise is quite fun and I felt satisfied after I have overcame the difficulties. Since this is the beginning of practice, I hope that I can learn well and found interest in this module.
What did I expect for this class is this class must be fun and I should gain more knowledge on building website. Moreover, I think having the knowledge of building and designing a website is a benefit for my future especially the current era is inclined to the online world, people are more likely to use internet to read article, news, online shopping and so on. So knowing the skills of building website is a must in this modern world. Besides, I also heard from my friends that many people now are building their own website to develop their business especially doing marketing and advertisement. So I believe that network will be the strength in the future.
I hope that I can learn a lot of new things in this module and I believe that this can helps me a lot in my future. I am looking forward to the next coming class.
